A safe day out at a local track, I was hoping for a 3 day hammock camping and hiking trip but the track conditions got the better of me. It was a good confirmation that I can do a 10km day with a full “down to zero” gear with me. This track is part of Te Araroa, and I was hoping to complete my first “section”, at least I’ve started!
Not a bad day to head over those hills.
